Bossa Nova Tour in Rio de Janeiro

At the scheduled time we'll meet at Nossa Senhora da Paz square to set off on our bossa nova tour in Rio de Janeiro. We'll explore some beautiful parts of the city while learning about this unique music genre that emerged in the 50s.

The tour will take us to the Ipanema and Copacabana neighborhoods. During our walk, the guide will not only reveal a host of interesting info about bossa nova but will also serenade us with some of its most famous songs. What more could you ask for?

The guide will talk about important Brazilian composers and musicians such as Dorival Caymmi, Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, and João Gilberto, considered the fathers of bossa nova. We'll also analyze some of the lyrics of the most popular songs, such as "Garota de Ipanema", or The Girl from Ipanema.

We'll visit the bars where the bossa nova singers used to meet, the places where they first performed their songs, and we'll explore the beaches that inspired their melodies.

After a 3.5-hour tour, our bossa nova tour will come back at the starting point.
